Oxfordshire’s 106JACKfm is celebrating another ratings jump with 5,000* extra people tuning in each week

It’s also good news again for JACKfm’s sister station JACK 2, where average listening has increased by an extra 1.5 hours per week.

People tuning in to both JACKfm and JACK 2 are clearly liking what they hear, listening for longer with the total weekly hours increasing from 479,000 to a massive 545,000.

JACKfm’s breakfast team are also celebrating - fresh off the back of JACK’s Morning Glory with Trev and Caroline being nominated for both Breakfast Show and Presenter Of The Year awards at the Arqiva UK Commercial Radio Awards** this year, the duo are today revelling in a 36% increase in listeners with 30,000 people now tuning in weekday mornings. Yes we’re shocked too!

Programme Director Tim Parker said “Today is a great day for the JACK brand as we see loyalty build across Oxfordshire. Both JACKfm and JACK2 offer very different music based entertainment. It’s clear to see that the people of Oxfordshire are engaging with both JACKfm ‘Playing What WE Want’ and its sister station JACK 2 ‘Playing What YOU Want’ where listeners pick the music 24 hours a day. I’m very proud of the team that operate from the graffiti covered, dumpy building in Oxford as we continue to hold the crown of the most awarded local commercial station in UK radio. We’ve got great plans for the JACK brand and look forward to even bigger and better things in the months ahead”
